I’ve been thinking about the idea of washing my dildo to kill off yeast recently. It’s something that I’ve always found a bit intimidating. Yeast infections can be really pesky and I don’t want to take any chances. So, naturally, my first question was, “Will washing my dildo kill off yeast?”
At first I was a bit hesitant to do my own investigation on the matter. It’s not something that’s commonly talked about and I wasn’t sure if I’d get an answer I was satisfied with. I knew that if I kept my research discreet, I’d be able to get the information I wanted without anybody finding out.
So I decided to take a chance and dive in. I began researching different methods and materials to wash dildos with, and immediately I was a bit overwhelmed. There are so many different ways to go about it, but the one common thing that all the research had in common was that the most important thing was to make sure the dildo was thoroughly washed. So, with that in mind, I decided to make sure I cleaned mine properly using an antibacterial soap and hot water.
Next, I had to figure out if there was anything I could do after washing to help prevent yeast from taking over. I learned that it’s important to keep dildos clean and dry after each use, so I started doing that religiously. I also added using condoms to the routine whenever I used the dildo.
Finally, I started looking at the different products I could use on my dildo that could help to prevent and kill any yeast that happened to reappear. I found a few products specifically designed to be used on dildos, one of them being a special anti-yeast spray that’s supposed to help kill off any existing yeast and prevent it from coming back.
So, after hours of research, vibrators I can confidently (or at least confidently enough) say that yes, washing your dildo can help kill off yeast and prevent it from coming back—as long as you do it properly and use the right products afterwards to help. Of course, it’s important to keep up with the routine and to make sure you’re not using your dildo with anything that could be a potential yeast breeding ground.
It’s been a bit of a learning experience for me, and I’m definitely more aware of the risks now. I feel more informed, and so that’s a big plus for me. Plus, now I feel like I can get back to enjoying myself more fully without the fear of yeast infections looming over my head! And that, to me, is worth the time I spent researching.
